Same-day Appointments

While many podiatry offices will delay seeing you, that is not the case with podiatry practice in New Jersey. When you are ready to schedule your appointment with experienced foot specialist Dr. Petkov, simply call or text us at (973) 315-5555. Our patient care coordinator will be happy to assist you. We reserve 4 appointment slots daily for urgent patients who might need to be seen right away. So we typically have same-day appointments available.

Extended business hours

We know that you are busy, which is why we are happy to offer extended business hours and weekend appointments, allowing for flexible scheduling in our Clifton, NJ office. We are open as late as 7 p.m. on weekdays and on Saturday.

Low Wait Times

We have streamlined our registration process from start to finish so that you can spend less time sitting in our waiting area and more time with your podiatrist. Our team always strives to keep the wait times to a minimum. We use digital patient forms which you can fill out at home prior to your appointment or once you arrive in our office.

Our podiatry office is conveniently located in the heart of Clifton – right on Clifton Avenue. The building offers free parking in its private lot. Our patients are also welcome to enjoy complimentary valet parking.

Our office is home to some of the latest and best technologies in the field of podiatry.

Our patients enjoy the comfort of having diagnostic equipment such as a high-frequency digital x-ray and high-resolution musculoskeletal ultrasound on-site. You can have your x-ray image files uploaded to our online patient portal for easy access.

We use the world’s most precise 3D foot scanning device and are able to offer our patients a full line of custom orthotics. These orthotics can be customized based on your personal style, activity level, comfort preference, and even the type of sports you might play.

Revolutionary technology also enables Dr. Petkov to create high-quality custom orthotics in under 10 minutes. If you are in a hurry or eager to get your new pair of orthotics, you can walk out with them out of our office on the same day.

We use EPAT shockwave therapy – a modern, non-invasive and highly-effective treatment for chronic heel pain. Shockwave therapy significantly reduces or eliminates heel pain in as little as 3-5 office visits.

Our office is equipped with the only FDA-approved low-level laser to treat stubborn toenail fungus in a pain-free manner that is safe and effective.

We offer cryotherapy– a liquid nitrogen dermatologic cryosurgical system for the treatment of plantar warts.

If you suffer from severe foot pain, Dr. Petkov may recommend getting a platelet-rich plasma injection – a natural treatment used as an alternative therapy for plantar fasciitis to reduce heel pain and improve functional restoration.

We also offer a painless, non-invasive diagnostic test, used to evaluate poor circulation problems, such as Peripheral Arterial Disease(PAD.)

Child-friendly Podiatry Office

Some of our favorite patients at Premier Podiatry are children. Our entire staff loves kids and we have a special approach to make them feel more comfortable before any procedure. Dr. Petkov was chosen as one of New Jersey’s Favorite Kids’ Docs for 2019.

Our 3D created custom orthotics come with a complimentary outgrowth program for children under the age of 13. If they outgrow theorthotics within 1 year of their scan, they are eligible for a new scan and abrand-new pair of orthotics – completely free of charge.
