MSI Announces GeForce GTX 660 Gaming Series

MSI has recently announced its latest graphics cards from the gaming series. The US based manufacturer of graphics and other computer devices unveiled the GeForce GTX 660 series claiming to ensure the compatibility of the latest graphics cards with the GeForce GTX 660 graphics processor. This new series of graphics cards will contently enter the sub-$200 market in the United States as it has been intentionally designed for this purpose with MSI building up on its SKUs.

The new gaming series are sure to bring a lot benefits and with two most prominent features they have topped the competitive advantage; the latest series will feature MSI’s own cooling technology, the TwinFrozr IV cooler. Along with this, the new gaming series will have a custom PCB and GK106 GPU. The fresh PCB design will be nailed on the GK 106.

Two SKU’s have been put into play by MSI. One of them has a NVIDIA reference clock speed of 980 MHz core along with the GPU boost of 1033 MH and a memory of 6.00 GHz. The other SKU features a clock speed of 1033 MHz core and has a GPU boost of 1098 MHz. The 192-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface will house a 2 GB memory and the series will also feature the 960 Cuda scores. No details of any pricing have been revealed by MSI as yet.
