Morton's The Steakhouse to offer $1 filet mignon sandwiches for National Filet Mignon Day.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Morton’s The Steakhouse is planning to sell miniature filet mignon sandwiches for a buck on National Filet Mignon Day.

The deal will be good from 4:45 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, in the bar area.

Morton’s The Steakhouse has 80 locations, including 1600 W. Second St. in Cleveland. It's one of two in Ohio, with another in Cincinnati.

The Cleveland location recently was included in Wine Spectator's 2019 Restaurant Awards, honoring places with exceptional wine lists. (Here's more on the Northeast Ohio restaurants making the list.)
