Emergency personnel extinguish an RV fire on I-78 westbound in Greenwich Twp. 
A vehicle fire in the westbound lanes of Interstate 78 in Greenwich Township caused a significant traffic backlog Saturday afternoon.
The fire was reported about 1:30 p.m. in an RV. The fire spread quickly, and the vehicle was engulfed, according to reports.
By 2:15 p.m., the fire was under control, and one lane was getting by the scene, according to emergency services officials.
State police investigated but provided no details.
