WCMTlogo 4    Apply for a 2018 funded Travelling Fellowship

May 2017
Are you aged between 18 and 25? Do you have a passion for leadership and youth social action?

Would you like to travel to other countries for four to eight weeks to research projects in these fields? On your return, would you be able to share your findings for the benefit of your community or organisation?

If the answer is 'yes' then a 'Young People' Churchill Fellowship offers you this opportunity. This could be your chance to see how things are done differently globally.

Read previous Fellows' stories in this area.

A Fellowship allows you to go overseas and look at good practice and innovative programmes so that you can return to the UK and share the new ideas for the improvement of your sector or trade.

If you have a specific interest that is covered by another category, you should apply within that category.

Please note that applicants within this category MUST be between 18-25 years of age. If you work with young people but are over 25 you should apply under another category.

Additional funding for interpreters is available as part of this category.

What is a Travelling Fellowship?
The Trust awards travel grants to men and women who will be able to undertake research overseas and on their return to the UK disseminate their new knowledge and examples of good practice.

Applicants must demonstrate that their project will have a wider benefit within their community or field, in addition to their own personal development.
