Ermanno: metallic glazed porcelain collection
This illusionary collection of two intricate, two-shade repeat designs and contrasting singular color design add character to any surface. Ermanno porcelain tile is crafted in Italy and exclusive to ANN SACKS in the United States. This completely in-stock program accommodates the tightest of installation schedules, making Ermanno a perfect choice for large-scale commercial projects as well as giving a striking appearance to create sensational residential applications.
Inspired by Art Deco design, Ermanno shows slight variations in color and irregularities within the pattern for an organic, handcrafted appearance. The Pavone (shown above) and Geometric designs are offered in Gold on Black, Gold on White, Silver on Black, Silver on White, or stand-alone White. Trama is available in Bronze on Black or Bronze on White.
Itai Bar-on: handcrafted dimensional concrete
We've collaborated with product designer, Israel-based Itai Bar-On, on a concrete collection designed to impress on the grandest of levels. The handcrafted tiles are exclusive to ANN SACKS In North America. Embodying the simple beauty of sculptural form, the intriguing, three-dimensional tiles are an artful expressions in scale, proportion and visual presentation.
A graduate of the Industrial Design Department of the Shenkar School of Design in Israel, Bar-On’s distinctive design acumen has garnered him many accolades the world over, including the prestigious 2010 Designers’ Award. His collection for ANN SACKS reflects his deep understanding of proportional space on the largest of scales, and his artistic talent of taking common materials and presenting them in an extraordinary new way.
The Itai Bar-On Collection is designed for interior feature wall applications and can withstand high heat, making it a perfect choice for a fireplace surround.
Paire: stone tile with brass inlay
Introducting Paire, a visually captivating and sophisticated collection that marries the softly honed beauty of stone with the warmth of brass. Depending on the stone and design selected, rooms can be customized to appeal to personal tastes, whether you desire something more understated or prefer to make a statement.
Paire is crafted from stone and brass in three distinctive designs. The stone choices are Black Limestone, White Marble and Verde Marble, its creamy depths differentiated by three patterns of inlaid brass – Ascend, Strobe and Horizontal. A complementing plain tile completes the choices, serving to juxtapose the decorated versions. Exclusive to ANN SACKS, Paire comes in 6”x6” and 6”x12” field tiles that are slightly beveled for a finished edge.
Duet: porcelain collection with a mix of finishes
Receiving its cues from the natural beauty and irregular smooth-to-textured hand of sandstone, Duet is an expressive blend of neutral colors that create synergy between the tile’s creamy shades relieved with punctuations of deep black in sharp contrast.
Designed to be mixed and matched, this porcelain collection is offered in an 8”x48” field tile and 8”x8” hexagon in shades of White, Flax and Black with varying surface textures – Matte, Lined or Flamed – for an appealing convergence of opposites. This in-box program combines designs for a look that adapts beautifully to its surroundings with character similar to well-worn tiles that have stood the test of time. With easy maintenance and a durable nature, Duet makes an impressive commercial or residential project choice for large scale flooring and walls, including outdoor applications.
Mixare: geometric porcelain tiles
Our latest porcelain find is a unique tile collection that skillfully pairs geometric shapes with a complementing neutral palette of cool and warm tones, as well as optional metal angle liners to define the tiles crisp lines. Our Mixare collection features a 5”x9” hexagon and solid 3”x12”wall field tile with a gentle undulating surface texture in a neutral palette of Ivory, Sand, Silver, and Taupe, with the angle liners offered in Bronze, Copper, Gold or Silver.
The porcelain composition makes it an excellent choice whether selected for commercial or residential projects, with its easy maintenance, durable performance and pure color that will not fade or stain. Comprised of two designs in a range of colors, Mixare hails from Italy and contains 21 percent recycled material. When employing the metal liners instead of standard grout, it creates a cool, modern vibe accentuating the tiles’ graphic lines.
