Human trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell arrested, will appear in NY court today?

The headline on NBC’s New York affiliate is “Jeffrey Epstein Confidante Ghislaine Maxwell Arrested, Sources Say.” Ghislaine Maxwell was a lot of things to Jeffrey Epstein, things which would have been better used in any headline. “Human Trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell,” perhaps. Co-Conspirator Ghislaine? International Criminal Ghislaine? Anyway, yes, there’s a report that Ghislaine Maxwell has been arrested “on the East Coast.” She was last photographed in LA last year, posing for a photo for the New York Post, and she’s reportedly protected by all kinds of powerful, shadowy people and governments around the world. And she will appear in court today?

Ghislaine Maxwell, the British socialite and heiress who became a confidante of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein and was later accused of involvement in his alleged sexual crimes, has been arrested by the FBI, two senior law enforcement sources tell News 4 New York.

She was arrested on the East Coast on Epstein-related charges and is expected to appear in a federal court later today, the sources say.

Spokespeople for the FBI and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Manhattan declined to comment.

The daughter of media baron Robert Maxwell, Ghislaine was a one-time girlfriend of Epstein’s and was at the high-flying investor’s side for decades. But she was also alleged to have helped Epstein groom teen girls for sex with the rich and powerful. One of those teens, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, leveled that charge against Maxwell in a 2015 defamation suit.

[From NBC News NY]

“But she was also alleged to have helped Epstein groom teen girls for sex with the rich and powerful.” She’s alleged to have done a lot more than that. She actively searched for and found girls as young as 12 and 13 years old for Epstein and his rapist pedophile friends. She actively groomed girls herself and she “managed” those girls for Epstein. She was also a major part of the international human trafficking conspiracy.

I honestly thought the Epstein case was dead in the water after US Attorney Jeffrey Berman got sh-tcanned from the Southern District. But it looks like the new US Attorney Audrey Strauss, just days on the job, is getting it done. I wonder if Strauss got on the job and she was like “wait, Maxwell hasn’t been arrested yet? Let’s get that done.” I wonder what Strauss will do about interviewing Prince Andrew. *cough*

Update #1: Apparently Maxwell was hiding out in Bradford, New Hampshire. She was arrested by the FBI at approx. 8:30 am.

    Yes!!! Finally.

    • Mads says:

I just shouted, “YES!” My whole household is sleeping. Whoops.

Hope she dies of COVID-19 in jail while simultaneously not infecting another soul…unless they are rapists.

      • Summer says:

@ mads: I know I’m so happy about this. But also a little worried. They are/were just a small piece of this puzzle. There are people out there that don’t want this woman to talk. The NY police department better keep a closer eye on her than JE. I hope this time that the payout is refused. *readjusts my tinfoil hat*

      • Elizabeth says:

Agreed, Summer. Not just in jail, but to and from court.

      • (TheOG) jan90067 says:

She is going to be “Epsteined” (ie: “helped” to “commit” suicide) in a cell, with cameras off. Someone start a pool as to when. There is no way she will be allowed to live and testify against those men (and women!) who used and abused those girls.

We’ve already been shown the extent to which these cockroaches will go to continue to hide in plain sight. Barr, his dad, #TraitorTangerineTwitler are all directly tied to her still, as are MANY other powerful gov’t officials and heads of other states.

      • Seraphina says:

@OG, I said the same thing to my husband. No way will the bigger rats let her love to tell the tale she has.

      • Mads says:

I figure you are all right and I am being spiteful. I just want the evil “you know what” to suffer. She is probably afraid she will not survive either way. Usually I want justice. However, seeing as a Barr is in charge of the Department of Justice, I have little confidence of that happening. Hopefully I am wrong.

I keep deleting wicked sentences wishing her to suffer. Didn’t know I had it in me. So I am sticking with wishing severe COVID-19 on her and miscellaneous rapists so they die suffering.

      • BlinkBanana says:

I think the best outcome (although how you define best here, is sketchy), is that she names names and outs the entire paedophile ring once and for all. Get them all. The information she must know is mind-blowing.

  2. RoSco says:

Best part of 2020? This woman is a demon with a human face.

    • Mac says:

I worry her victims will be denied justice when she commits “suicide” in jail.

      • Call_me_al says:

I hope not, for the victims’ sake.

      • Quincytoo says:

I had the same feelings as well
I had to wonder if Bing was surprised that he suicided ?

      • TQ says:

@Mac — exactly. Now time for ‘suicide’ watch.

      • Mia4s says:

I think that would be too obvious…but yeah I do fear she has an “undiagnosed heart condition” that will only be discovered after her sudden and “shocking” demise. 😒

What I really hope is that she gives up everybody to save herself. That would be best case scenario. I do think some powerful men are very frightened today….good.

      • aang says:

Yep. Just a matter of time.

      • Levans says:

@QuincyToo I’m not following. Did Steve Bing have some link to this?

      • Jaded says:

@Levans – there is some totally unsubstantiated tittle-tattle that Bing knew about Epstein’s crimes. They knew each other peripherally through the Clintons but that’s about all they can pin on him.

      • Christina says:

I worry about the prosecutor, Strauss. She is a hero. The ones before her and in other places, like Florida, didn’t want to take on the powerful men who purchased the trafficked girls from Epstein. I hope that she has security around her who aren’t able to be bribed or coerced.

      • JanaTHING says:

She better be making a statement that she is NOT suicidal, before she is found “hanged” in her cell too! I want her to live long enough to out all the rich pedophiles!

  3. Lightpurple says:

I love that this news is breaking at the exact moment Trump is holding a news conference to brag about June job numbers (people going back to work as their states lift lockdowns.) Well done, Audrey Strauss, not only in bringing Maxwell in but in upstaging the Orange Voldemort.

    • Christin says:

Eric (“Unfortunate Son”) claims the stock market is on fire, and those with 401ks should be celebrating.

They are gaslighters, and not even good ones at that.

      • Lightpurple says:

Junior is claiming that Biden will raise our taxes while he screams a KKK slogan in defense of Daddy Trump’s tax policies.

      • (TheOG) jan90067 says:

Biden probably WILL close some loopholes and raise HIS (and other million/billionaire’s) taxes back up, to where to ultra/mega rich WILL pay more towards their “fair” share. And I say GO JOE!!!

Middle/lower brackets can’t continue to carry their weight on our backs!

    • Truthiness says:

OMG. *chefs kiss* Audrey is my new hero.

      • Courtney B says:

Thankfully Berman made a big stink when they tried to announce he’d ‘resigned’ and that publicity kept the Barr pick out and basically forced them to let Strauss, Berman’s Deputy step up.

      • HashtagNo says:

I agree. Berman did the right thing- speaking out loud &proud- wish more in admin would speak out !!

    • FC says:

Lolz, The Queen is prob calling Trump as we speak.

      • Chica1971 says:

She called earlier this week. Now we know why and why the DA firing last week in NY

      • bamaborn says:

Sooooo Betty got a heads up? Was wondering if it was true she and Trump were communicating. Now we know why. People forget also, there are more than 200 attorneys in that SDNY conglomerate. They are use to all kinds of lowlifes.

  4. Alaina Bahler says:

I hope she rots in hell.

  5. minx says:

    Great news!

    • tback says:

Yes, let’s not call Ghislaine a “confidante.” Let’s also quit referring to Epstein as an “investor.” He was not, and that is not how he made his money. He was a human trafficker.

  6. Mellie says:

We just started watching the Epstein documentary on Netflix last night and are two episodes into it. Funny because we were wondering where this bitch was hiding. This story is so infuriating. I can’t imagine how awful it was for the honest police officers and FBI members who were trying to get these a holes off the streets only to be stonewalled by his powerful “friends”.

    • Kriseth says:

I watched that documentary as well. The thing is…Ghislaine wasn’t the only one recruiting girls for Epstein. There were several other women who were “in love” with Epstein who recruited girls for him. They need to be speaking as well.

      • Jaded says:

The four women – Sarah Kellen, Lesley Groff, Adriana Ross and Nadia Marcinkova – could still be subject to criminal charges in New York. The US attorney’s office has said it is not bound by the suit against Epstein in 2007.

      • Digital Unicorn says:

Rumours are Ivanka was – wasn’t she a ‘model’ at that time when Epstein and Daddy were still friends.

  7. ziaaa says:

Sadly, I do not think this horrendous woman is gonna be tried in the court of law…several power players like political leaders, industrialists, past and present Presidents, royal members were serviced by her. Wait for the security cameras to malfunction and Maxwell to be ‘suicided’….

If US Attorney Audrey Strauss and his predecessor were diligently working on it for days and months and were nearing capturing Maxwell then these predatory power-players knew it too. Also, it explains Petty Betty’s out-of-the-blue congratulatory call to Trump…Maxwell is not gonna be allowed to rat on these people.

  8. MellyMel says:

    About damn time!!

    • Mtec says:

Seriously! Wayyy overdue. She didn’t just manage, groom and recruit girls for Epstein and their friends, many girls in the documentary mentioned how she also sexually abused them. She is just as much as an abuser as Epstein is. I bet she’s gonna use all the white woman privilege she has to paint herself as a victim though. Hope they don’t just give he a slap on the wrist. I’m cautiously optimistic about this arrest, but I’m also wondering how come it took so long if she was still right there in the US. Makes me think she has already worked out some sort of deal that will let her get off easy. I hope i’m wrong.

      • Tasha says:

Hopefully it took a while because they were getting their ducks in a row and get it done right.

  9. grabbyhands says:

That’s great, but arrested is waaaay different than convicted and jailed. No one should be celebrating yet.

  10. Tiffany says:

I honestly thought this woman was dead and we were just never gonna hear about it.

  11. erindipity says:

I can’t believe this woman was hiding just two towns away from me – I was grocery shopping there just yesterday! Although she obviously had to be somewhere… I am definitely wondering how long she was there and who finally blew the whistle on her whereabouts! So glad she’s finally been caught, but it’ll be interesting to see how this plays out.

    • Harper says:

What kind of place is Bradford NH that she would be hiding out there? Can you give us a description?

      • erindipity says:

The name of the town is actually Bedford, not Bradford. It’s one of the ritziest towns in the state – classically New England in style, full of horse farms, high end shops, and that kind of thing. Definitely the kind of place I could see people she knows and who would help her hide having a house to stash her in.

      • erindipity says:

Hm, actually I’m seeing conflicting reports. Some news sources say she was arrested in Bedford, others say Bradford. Both are towns here, but Bradford is about a half hour farther away from me and I’ve never been there. I do know it’s a lot smaller and more secluded than Bedford is though, so her being there would make sense too. I guess we’ll find out which place it actually was during the noon news conference!

      • StellainNH says:

She was arestest in Bedford. A very rich town. Lots of mansions and money. Dean Kamen has a mansion there.

    • sealit says:

@erindipity My heart skipped a beat when I saw Bedford. I grew up in Amherst right next door. And I have friends still living in both towns. Yikes. Seems so random for her to be hiding out in Bedford. But I guess most people around town wouldn’t even notice her.

    • clomo says:

I read the FBI had been watching her for months unbeknownst to her. They have been holding their cards very close obviously and there are some good agents that truly want to get all the assholes involved toppled. The pedo world is all around us, invisibly lurking in the nicest of places. That Epstein place in New Mexico though is so creepy, not exactly the prettiest area of the state, looks like Area 51.

  12. Eleonor says:

    FINALLY!
I wonder if her powerful friends have decided to get rid of her.

  13. Digital Unicorn says:

Wonder how long it will take for her to sing like a canary or end up like Epstein. She WILL throw Andrew and the RF under the bus to get a deal.

Guess she ran out of ‘friends’ to hide her.

  14. Flamingo says:

I’m actually kind of surprised that she hasn’t killed herself or died under questionable circumstances yet. I think she will end up following her old pal, Epstein, again and ending it before she gets to trial.

  15. Veronica S. says:

If she hasn’t been tried in a court of law, I can see why newspapers stick to alleged or more loosely charged terms to describe the arrest, though I don’t think anybody isn’t going to know it’s about human trafficking since it’s linked to Epstein. For legal reason, it’s generally safer than risk being sued for libel. Now, we can have a conversation about the fact that policy isn’t extended to ALL people equally, particularly populations who don’t have the economic power to challenge it, but that’s a different conversation.

tl;dr I hope she dies miserably behind bars.

    • Tia says:

No one is going to risk her lawyers claiming she couldn’t get a fair trial by using language that pre-judges her conviction (whatever we may all think privately).

No doubt the newspapers are all ready to go to town when she is convicted.

Having said that, I’m fairly sure she either is going to die in custody or the fix is in and she’ll get a short sentence as someone also victimised by Epstein. Nobody implicated is going to risk her releasing the evidence she no doubt has.

  16. Deanne says:

This is great news, but I won’t be satisfied until Andrew the lying ass is dragged into court as well. There are so many powerful men who victimized these young girls. I hope that they are all exposed.

  17. CatWomen says:

She was an idiot to leave France, she must be very arrogant. I hope she goes to jail for a long time. No deals.

  18. Minny says:

Maxwell just got arrested. Liz you and your favorite are in trouble gurl. And unfortunately it’s not just because your fav is a perv. It’s so much much more.

  19. aquarius64 says:

THIS is the legal proceeding the Royal Family needs to worry about. Gigi may decide to squeal and deal, and I can see a lot of receipts coming out on Andrew. This may be in response to Andrew not cooperating with the Feds. I bet bail is denied because she has proven to be a flight risk. Meghan’s lawsuit is small potatoes compared to this. Andrew will bring down the house of Windsor.

    • Livvers says:

Yeah I guess this is why Andrew only wanted to submit a written or oral statement rather than do a formal interview.

    • Lizzie Bathory says:

Yes & Prince Doofus is a small fish compared with some of the people Maxwell has information about. It would be very easy to burn him to distract from some of the bigger players here.

  20. lucy2 says:

I hope she’s really, really scared, and starts talking to save herself. Let’s hope she brings a lot of disgusting men down with her before she mysteriously dies.

  21. Harla says:

Between this and the Sussex’s lawsuit, things aren’t going well for the royal family and I’m totally here for it. I’ve got my popcorn popping, my glass of wine is poured so now I can sit back and watch them all reap what they’ve sowed. This is better than Tiger King!!

    • bamaborn says:

Harla…we’ve been saying this along. Be interesting to see if Betty’s influence and money are enough to impress the SDNY’s law hounds. And yes, I’ve got my popcorn ready too!

  22. KellyRyan says:

There isn’t any safe place for her. Noel Casler, employee on Celebrity Apprentice was aware of Dumpty’s involvement in human trafficking. Hope she talks, giving up as much information as possible.

  23. nicegirl says:

This is the news I’ve been hoping to hear!

Also wouldn’t mind COVID19 for all the pedos

  24. B says:

    Took them long enough.

  25. Also Ali says:

    SDNY FTW!!

  26. ChillyWilly says:

First, Hallelujah! It’s about damn time. Second, how long before she “kills herself” ?

  27. MerryGirl says:

The good news: Finally, finally she’s arrested.
The bad news: So many powerful people involved who can pervert justice.
The reality: Will she live to tell the tale?

  28. yinyang says:

Prince Andrew they’re coming for you and no amount of throwing Meghan under the bus will help, cause everytime your paid jornalist writes about her to distract from you– we’ll make sure to bring you up in big bold letters!

    • yinyang says:

Hmm…I think I remember hearing PA has some kind of immunity, maybe thats where they got info to arrest her, hope not!

  29. Sean says:

The longer anyone associated with Epstein lives, the likelier the connection between Epstein and Bill Barr’s family will be discussed.

I hope they keep a close eye on her.

  30. StellainNH says:

She was arrested in Bedford, New Hampshire which is just twenty minutes from me. It’s jarring that this monster was staying so close. I hope she spends the rest of her life in prison.

  31. Charfromdarock says:

Good. It’s a start. I hope this whole disgusting network unravels.

  32. vertes says:

I don’t think she’s very scared – yet. Her appearance at In-n-Out last year was a finger in our faces. I really hope she’s held without bail & confined in gen’l quarters without any “special privileges” like Manafort & DT’s other pals got.

    • aquarius64 says:

SDNY does not want another suicide on its watch. She’ll be watched.

      • vertes says:

I hope they watch her do KP, laundry, & latrine duty, not settle into a realatively comfy private cell with privileges not allowed run-of-the-mill prisoners. I guess if she’s in federal custody, she’ll get better treatment than is available in the women’s equivalent of Rikers.

  33. S808 says:

This is the real reason why the queen called trump. This lady will be handled just like her boyfriend.

    • Ginger says:

      I agree.

    • Olenna says:

      MTE.

    • bamaborn says:

That was so bizarre and out of the blue. The old bitty ought to know by now you can’t sneak and do anything without social media putting two and two together.

    • morrigan01 says:

Yep. She’ll either be handled or . . . well, given how long the FBI have apparently been following Maxwell PLUS the BS Barr was trying to pull with the SDNY . . . part of me has a feeling the Feds anticipated these things (chatter among IC types on twitter seem to hint as such) and The Queen and Trump talking was actually a sloppy as hell move to pull right before the Feds scooped her up.

IDK. I’m not saying she won’t be Epsteined. But I do think some people are a bit more exposed then they’d like to be right now if they tried it.

  34. Lori says:

Yes!!!! Finally, hoping rock solid case has been put together. Alot of famous wealthy people verrry nervous this a.m.!

  35. Bobby the K says:

Andrew would be sweating if he was able to.

  36. MerlinsMom1018 says:

    Huh.
Wonder if she’ll stay alive long enough to name names *cough*
    *prince andrew*

    • Betsy says:

I don’t want to say I don’t care about Prince Andrew, for he’s clearly a rapist and an all around horrible human, but I want the names of more people involved with this. Andrew’s name has been out there enough that everyone knows he’s a predator. Who are the other people involved in the human trafficking and rape?

  37. SJR says:

Wonder who was hiding her? Why would they? They should be arrested also.

    IRL, is there justice?
Jail is too good for her but, I hope she tells all, gives up everybody involved.

In reality I think she will be killed ASAP. These sick, evil people have all the money and connections in the world. Charged with pedo and human trafficking? They will have her killed before she talks.

  38. Ana says:

That’s EXACTLY how you write that headline. So why are so many news outlets doing word gymnastics saying things like “disgraced billionaire companion” or “daughter of famous financier”?

  39. Jaded says:

I hope this brings down the whole sleazy bunch of them and the House of Petty Betty. If they can keep GM from suiciding or being suicided she’ll have to spill tea to get anything less than a life sentence in solitary. Of course if that happens she’ll have to arrange for a new identity and face, and go live in Siberia as a goat herder.

The bigger they are the harder they fall.

  40. Amelie says:

Oh wow! Honestly I thought the Jeffrey Epstein case was kaput once he committed suicide, or whatever actually happened as there are so many wild theories out there. I finished Filthy Rich on Netflix just a few days ago so the timing is also kind of incredible for me. It’s a tough documentary to watch and I really had to space it out over several days because it it so gut-wrenching to listen to these women’s testimonies. And there were SO MANY girls and so many we do not know about because they never came forward.

However I highly recommend people watch it. It is well-known Ghislaine helped groom, lure girls in to Jeffrey’s house, and aided in sex-trafficking. However, one detail that always seems to be omitted is that Ghislaine ALSO participated in the act of sexual abuse as well. Or maybe this is something that only came to light in the documentary, I don’t know but I had never heard that detail. But some of the women in the documentary testified that Ghislaine was present when the abuse happened and also participated in some cases. It’s impossible to know how often this happened but I was pretty stunned when I heard this and it also makes her a sex offender (I think everything else she did would also make her qualify as one right?).

I’m hoping these women finally get their day in court. They had a symbolic one where they gave their accounts to the judge after Epstein was found dead (the documentary covers this). But I hope for those that want to face Ghislaine, that they get their day in court to face her because she is a monster and deserves all the horrible things. I just hope whatever jail she ends up in that they watch her like a hawk so she can’t take her own life.

I also wonder what kind of childhood/relationship Ghislaine had with her father. The documentary hints at the weird, really close relationship between Ghislaine and her dad and this really good article goes into Robert Maxwell’s background, his depraved behavior, and the suspicious way in which he died too (he named the boat near where his body was found after Ghislaine): https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/aug/22/the-murky-life-and-death-of-robert-maxwell-and-how-it-shaped-his-daughter-ghislaine. I wonder why she would take up with Epstein and do the things she did and I can’t help but ask myself if her father was doing something similar… to his own daughter? Other girls? We’ll never know I guess.

  41. Malificent says:

I’m surprised that she’s still alive. I would have thought any number of the powerful, shadowy concerns would have found it more efficient to “disappear” her than to protect her.

  42. adastraperaspera says:

Thank god! This SDNY press conference with Audrey Strauss is excellent. She just said “we would welcome Prince Andrew’s statement… We welcome his coming in.”

    1-800-CALL-FBI (225-5324)

  43. sipnbubbly says:

This all seems like it was arranged to me. As soon as Berman is out and Barr’s attorney is appointed, they arrest Maxwell. It’s awfully convenient that the arrest happens now and I believe their game plan doesn’t involve her ratting out power-players. Either she will be suicided or get a plea deal/immunity. Strauss is executing Barr’s orders. How did they find her? Was she always in New Hampshire? Was this a surprise FBI raid? I think Barr knew where she was all along. I hope I’m wrong.

    • Christin says:

IIRC, Strauss was second in line behind Berman. Barr hand-picked someone else, but Berman’s initial refusal to resign apparently fouled that plan.

    • anon says:

Barr’s attorney was not appointed yet. Berman left his second in command as acting AG, and so far she’s been delivering. You are wrong.

      • sipnbubbly says:

I truly hope I’m wrong. If she’s not Barr’s pick then hopefully she is picking up where Berman left off.

      • Courtney B says:

Berman made a big stink when they tried to say he ‘resigned’ and made it clear he had not. All the publicity made Barr have to retract his pick (who’d never been a prosecutor) and let Berman’s Deputy, Strauss, step into the job.

  44. lizziebuck says:

I went to Wikipedia to check out this town in New Hampshire. God love the Wikis; check out the Notable People section:

    Notable people
    Odds Bodkin, storyteller and musician
    John Q. A. Brackett, 36th governor of Massachusetts[citation needed]
John Milton Hawks, abolitionist and physician
    Thorkild Jacobsen, Danish-American historian
Ghislaine Maxwell, British socialite , heiress, and accused sex trafficker[11]
Mason Tappan, U.S. Congressman and State Attorney General
    Bainbridge Wadleigh, U.S. Senator

  45. Mina_Esq says:

a Monster like her will have no issue lying under oath, denying any knowledge of the girls’ trafficking and abuse, and will likely try to paint herself as a victim too. I’m sick just thinking about it.

    • amadea says:

I agree with you. Anything else would come as a real surprise to me!!!

    • Minny says:

Unfortunately for Maxwell, when the FEDS come knocking they already have all the answers to the questions. Never lie to the FEDS. That will add more charges. Isn’t that right Andy.

  46. Sasha says:

She ALSO molested them with him. Watching the documentary, she also rubbed up on the girls at times. She is so disgusting.

  47. Seraphina says:

Yes she is the same monster as Jeffrey. She assisted and makes her just as guilty.

  48. SJR says:

TheDailyMail has a front page story including photo of the house she was hiding in.
Who said “Crime does not pay”? The hell it doesn’t!

$1Million dollar house, custom built, set on 100+ acres of land “For the nature lover who wants privacy.”

She bought it thru a LLC Trust, not using her name, 8 months ago.
HTF?? Money really rules these vile, evil sickos.
She bought a hideaway, hired staff, dealt with banks and a realtor, etc. for 8 months and not one of these people recognized her? Who works for this creature?? She has a “groundskeeper” he does not call the Feds?
Just a ton of people taking a fat, fat paycheck and leaving their morals at the door, I guess.
Btw, a large granite stone marks the road to the property “TUCKEDAWAY”

Evil walks among us, including those who work for her. I don’t give one damn how much $$ she is paying for staff. No!

  49. Anne Marie says:

I bet this is why lizzy had that random call to trump to ask him to buy this! Firing that prosecutor didnt stop the investigation and apparently an anti corruption unit is handling this which is said to specialise in cases involving senior officials (ie trump,andrew..). It’s only time before Andrew is officially asked after public pressure forces UK government to take his special status🤞

  50. The Recluse says:

So glad they got that evil woman. Everything needs to come out and people need to go to jail for what they did.

  51. Jay says:

I am surprised they finally picked her up – it certainly appears that the FBI knew exactly where she was, and was biding their time collecting information.

Maybe they moved quickly to avoid I more interference, or perhaps she was getting ready to do a runner?

  52. Darla says:

Prince Andrew is so meaningless. I’m sure the royals are besides themselves, but we’re talking much bigger names here.

  53. Ms always ms says:

I support any deal that makes her sing like a canary. Her giving up all the names would be everything. It could be the start of big changes that save many young girls.

  54. ODIE says:

I think the implications for the other people involved are devastating. The FBI watched her buy a house. Watched her move in. They waited until they got all the information they wanted to have before bringing her in. Up until a week ago, Andrew probably had 100 invitations to avoid prison by cooperating. Oops.

  55. morrigan01 says:

Maxwell is never going to serve a long time in jail. Ever That woman has exactly *two* options right now:

Option 1: Make a deal, sing like a canary, and then get put into witness protection, and just hope against hope her car doesn’t explode one day, or she doesn’t get shot through the mouth one day before or after she testifies in the trials of others. Or,

Option 2: Make no deal and take her chances with a trial – that she will never live to see because she’ll be Epsteined long before it ever gets to that point.

That’s it. Those are her own two choices now. Any type of life as she knew it is over. Forget any semblance of her ever facing a long jail sentence after a trial. Not happening. She knows too much about too many powerful people.
