10. Cadbury Dairy Milk

With Cadbury being the second largest confectionery brand in the world, you know they were going to end up on this list somewhere! Starting us off is this classic, silky-smooth chocolate we all know and love! Dairy Milk Chocolate Bars were first introduced in 1905 and are made "with a glass and a half of fresh milk". Try the many iconic flavors of this classic British Chocolate Bar brand! They're all exquisite!

9. Flake Bar

If you haven’t tried this yet, we strongly recommend it! A strong candidate for your new go to chocolate bar. This British Chocolate bar lives up to the name Flake, with it’s flakey texture that melts in your mouth almost instantaneously. Flake Bars were discovered by accident in 1920 when a Cadbury employee noticed thin layers of "flakey" chocolate falling from the molds. A sweet discovery indeed!

8. Twirl Bar

This twirly treat is much like a Flake Bar, but with the Twirl Bar you get an extra layer of Dairy Milk chocolate wrapped around the bar keeping the flakey chocolate secure and ready to enjoy! Originally introduced by Cadbury in the 1970's as a single bar but we all knew that it was not enough of this delicious treat! Cadbury repackaged it in 1984 as a twin bar. That's better, but still not enough!

7. Fry's Turkish Delight

They say they are "Full of Eastern Promise"! First introduced in 1914, Fry's Turkish Delight British Chocolate Bars are a unique and sweet treat that consist of a Turkish Delight gel center with just the right amount of chocolate coating the outside. With the light taste of rosewater these are truly delightful. We enjoy them with some authentic Turkish Coffee – Yum!

6. Double Decker Bar

Those big red buses aren’t the only Double Decker’s you’ll find all over England! The Cadbury Double Decker is a crispy cereal bar with a layer of nougat and topped with that silky smooth Cadbury chocolate. Introduced in 1976 and inspired by the Double Decker buses. They ask "Are you missing something up top?". Some say there’s nothing more British then a Double Decker!

5. Fry’s Peppermint Cream

As it says on the packaging, this British Chocolate bar consists of rich dark chocolate with a minty fondant center. The dark chocolate and mint flavors combine perfectly, not too over powering but still loads of flavor! First introduced in 1866, Fry's Peppermint Cream is a true old fashioned candy.

4. Curly Wurly Bar

This British chocolate bar has been around since the 1970’s and it’s stayed around for a reason. Previously known as Wig Wag and Marathon Bar, this sweet treat consists of caramel covered in that classic Cadbury milk chocolate. Curly Wurly is one of Britain's most popular bar. Give it a Whirl!

From what we’ve heard, this is one of Britain’s Favorite Chocolate bars, from what we’ve tasted, we can understand why! This silky smooth chocolate bar will melt in your mouth almost instantly. When we asked how they make the Galaxy Chocolate Bar they just said “we do it the Milky Way”. This British Chocolate bar is much better then that joke…

2. Lion Bar

Many people say that this British Chocolate bar is much like the Canadian chocolate bar Mr.Big, so if you like those, you should love these! Made with Crisp wafer, caramel, and cereal bits all wrapped in a delicious Nestle milk chocolate. This British chocolate bar was first introduced in the 1970's and roars louder them most.

1. Yorkie Bar

Yorkie Bars were originally manufactured in the city of York, England in 1924 as York Chocolate but were relaunches in 1976 as Yorkie Bar. They were made to rival the Cadbury Dairy Milk but in a chunkier silhouette. The smooth British Chocolate bar by Nestle was originally aimed at male consumers, as one advertisement for this chocolate bar read “ Welcome to York, where the men are hunky and the chocolate’s chunky”. An exceptional milk chocolate bar that is so scrumptious that it had to be chosen as #1!
