Still do. Lets have a meet soon. I don't know how long I'm going to hang on to my CLAS setup (depending on this comparison :)).

I can only be there on Saturday. Need to be in Sendai on Sunday. I hope that my A2P TUR-06 will arrive before the event.

Basically when input (USB or iDevice) is disconnected, M8 goes to standby.

It's difficult to detect "no audio" without false positives. If you are not careful, a pause in a classical recording can get the unit to turn off!

To a certain extent we do that -- if you disconnect the iPhone the power consumption is less, but not zero, since the CPU is still running, albeit at lower power, to check for that iPhone to eventually come back and start playing again.

LOL, and now I know why when I order my cable that Sysconcept said they have done a couple of them already, but now I know for whom.
