Celeb moms reveal tricks to looking 7 Years Younger

How do celebrity moms like Gwyneth Paltrow, Cindy Crawford and Halle Berry keep their young and wrinkle-free skin?

Halle Berry - Celebrity mom

They often have a group of doctors and other resources right at their fingertips to help them look years younger — and now you do too!

The Good Housekeeping experts have released an anti-aging guide called 7 Years Younger — and we will share some of their top tips for regaining your youth.

We are always amazed when we find out the age of some of Hollywood’s hottest moms, such as Halle Berry (46 years old!) and Cindy Crawford (47 years old!). Many of their secrets to looking youthful are surprisingly easy tricks you can do at home — and the editors of Good Housekeeping have put them all together in an anti-aging guide, called 7 Years Younger, to share skin care, cosmetics, hair care, nutrition, diet, exercise and emotional health tips.

“Research has shown that simple lifestyle changes, like using the right skin care and hair care products, consistent exercise and strategic nutrition can turn back the clock by about seven years,” says Rosemary Ellis, editor-in-chief of Good Housekeeping.

What is the secret to Halle Berry’s glowing, wrinkle-free skin? Berry told Marie Claire that she exfoliates her skin and she rubs pure Vitamin C, which is a powerful antioxidant, on her face before putting on moisturizer. The Good Housekeeping (GH) experts in 7 Years Younger say you can get her same results by aiming to get 75mg of vitamin C a day (such as an orange for breakfast and five strips of a yellow pepper at lunch) or get it in a bottle with the Mary Kay TimeWise Replenishing Serum+C, which has been shown to work the best at firming the skin.

Celebrity mom Cindy Crawford is 47 years old — but could easily pass for a full decade younger! Her secret? “You can get any plastic surgery in the world, but hair color is what enables women to look younger longer,” she told Allure. Copy her ageless look right at home with a semi-permanent hair glaze, such as the Good Housekeeping-approved John Frieda Clear Shine Luminous Glaze.

Gwyneth Paltrow, 40, keeps her figure looking ageless by detoxing twice a year using the Clean Program, as well as making sure she gets enough sleep. “I don’t always get it, and when I don’t, I look like I’ve been hit by a truck,” she said during an interview. According to the experts of 7 Years Younger, it is important to get six to eight hours of sleep, which we all know, but also the position you sleep in affects how you age, as well. Sleeping on your stomach with your face pushed into the pillow can contribute to wrinkling. Sleeping on your back is best and they suggest propping a pillow under your knees and using a cervical pillow to make sleeping on your back more comfortable.

Celebrity moms like Reese Witherspoon and Angelina Jolie keep their youthful appearance with their gorgeous smiles, thanks to their bright, white teeth. In fact, a white smile will take years off your appearance because as you age your teeth will naturally discolor because the outer enamel becomes more transparent. Brighten your teeth with the Good Housekeeping-approved Crest 3D White Advanced Vivid Whitestrips with Advanced Vivid Technology.
