Old Iron Works Days 2017

Hundreds of attendees at the 2017 Old Iron Works Days at Maramec Spring Park learned about local history, traditional crafts and enjoyed many live performances.

The James Foundation is pleased to announce the dates of this year’s 40th annual Old Iron Works Days festival. Make plans to join us at Maramec Spring Park on October 13 and 14 as we celebrate “40 Years of Living History.”

This long running 2-day festival was the brainchild of former James Foundation Regional Manager, Ford Hughes. Throughout the years the festival has continued to be the unique event he envisioned in the late 1970s that depicted some of the ways of life that could be found during the Maramec Iron Works period. In addition to this year’s event, plans are underway for 2019 and beyond for this important event in the life of Maramec Spring Park and the local community.
