A new survey suggests upper management isn’t always keen on connecting.
Being friends with your coworkers is one thing, but when it comes to your boss, you want to proceed with caution.
The survey from OfficeTeam finds most senior managers are uncomfortable being “friended” by their bosses or the workers they supervise.
If you really want to connect, you might want to talk about it in person first or wait for your manager to make the first move.
About half of the senior managers surveyed say they prefer not to “friend” anyone they work with.
