HighPoint has released its most adaptable 4 Port storage HBA namely the RocketU 1144E. This circuit device provides remarkable performance in input/output processing and features a 3.0 USB along with 6 GB/second eSATA connectivity. This allows compatilbity with all external eSATA and 3.0 USB storage.
The RocketU 1144E can be run on platforms of PCs and MACs and will support Thunderbolt Expansion chassis solutions. The 5GB/second USB 3.0 or 6GB/second SATA controller powers each port independently and this results in the improvement of the performance to the maximum level and allows storage devices of USB 3.0 and 6 GB/second SATA to benefit from the HBA’s PCI-Express 2.0 x4 host interface.
The RocketU 1144E comes with ease of use with its high compatibility with PCs and Macs and is easy to install in slots of PCI-E 2.0 x4, x8 or x16. Moreover, the USB 3.0 devices will benefit from the performance boost of the UAS technology which will improve the data transfer and allows the maximum utilization of the bandwidth. Multitasking is also possible with this feature as handling multiple data transfer requests at the same time is no longer a problem. But these higher transfer speeds will not increase the burden on the CPU’s.
