Oh Sees have shared a new animated music video for their song “Drowned Beast.” The clip premiered Saturday night on Adult Swim. Directed by Dr D Foothead (and created with T-Wei and Otis Chamberlain), the clip shows an alien planet receiving a strange visitor. Watch it below. “I wrote this song mostly in the studio and it was, in my mind, about the insatiable hunger of mankind, but sort of bent in this weird fantastical way,” says John Dwyer. “I always love working with Dr Foothead because his take is always coming from some other world, as is evident in this far out animation.”
Dr D Foothead previously animated the Oh Sees’ “Gelatinous Cube” video. Oh Sees’ recently released another animated clip for their song “Nite Expo.” “Drowned Beast” appears on Oh Sees’ Orc album. Dwyer recently shared the new Memory of a Cut Off Head LP under his OCS moniker.
