Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve defeated No. 4 Viceroy Los Cabos in a tight contest, winning with 50.42 percent of the vote (26,000 - 25,567).

The Winner

Located in the Maldives’ Baa Atoll archipelago and on the doorstep of Hanifaru Bay, Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas is an ideal gateway from which to explore the Indian Ocean. There are 80 private pool villas, ranging from 2,800 square feet to nearly 30,000 square feet, several of which—including our winner—are over-water.

Guests can snorkel within a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, explore uninhabited islands surrounded by reefs, cruise in solitude and more.

There are also six dining and entertainment venues, an underwater restaurant and wine cellar, an over-water observatory, a dive center, children’s club and more.

The Runner-Up

The Kul Kul Tower at Mandapa a Ritz-Carlton Reserve is a great spot for guests to meditate, enjoy the soothing sounds of the river below, and take in the panoramic lush jungle views that surround the property. The Ubud, Bali hotel has just 60 villas and suites (all with butler service) in addition to two swimming pools and a serene spa.
