GOP launches fresh bid to block Interior mining rule
{mosads}The head of Interior’s Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement, in testimony before the committee Tuesday, defended the rule-making effort and said a formal proposal will arrive in 2014.
The House, in appropriations bills, has sought to thwart the rule, but the effort has not won traction in the Senate.
