“Interior architecture at UW-Stevens Point is a professional design degree that gives students a portfolio showcasing creative and technical skills with real-world project applications and hands-on experiences,” said Prof. Aaron Kadoch, head of the Division of Interior Architecture. “Our focus is on improving the quality of life, for individuals, organizations, and communities through spatial and functional design.”

Fox Valley Tech students in the Applied Science in Interior Design (AAS) and/or Kitchen and Bath Design (AAS) program will gain solid foundational technical skills and project experiences in design, setting them up for smooth transition into and successful completion of UW-Stevens Point’s professionally-accredited interior architecture program.

“We are thrilled about the partnership with the UW-Stevens Point interior architecture program,” said Kris Hackl, department chair and faculty of the FVTC Interior Design department. “Fox Valley Tech students wishing to obtain a bachelor’s degree now have an affordable option that is relatively close to home. The interior architecture program at UW-Stevens Point has always had a great reputation, and our interior design students will be well prepared to continue growing their skills by way of this collaboration. It’s a win-win arrangement for both schools, students and the industry.”

Prior to enrollment at UW-Stevens Point, students enrolled at FVTC are encouraged to consult with UWSP academic advisers throughout their AAS program to make an academic transfer plan. To learn more about the transfer process, students can contact Professor Aaron Kadoch at aaron.kadoch@uwsp.edu.

The UW-Stevens Point interior architecture program is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) and the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). The FVTC Kitchen and Bath program is accredited by the National Kitchen & Bath Association.
