Today, The Nature Conservancy and China's Three Gorges Corporation signed a five-year agreement aimed at making hydropower more sustainable. The collaboration highlights the impact of the U.S.-China EcoPartnership initiated through the GRP in 2012.
In conjunction with GRP, The Nature Conservancy's Africa team targets Gabon—home of the Ogooué River Basin—as a new focal area for freshwater conservation.
As part of the Cycling Colombia initiative, Carlos Pedraza and team bike through the Magdalena River Basin teaching about freshwater ecosystems.
