She kept calm and carried on.

Freshly minted royal mum Kate Middleton breezed through the birth of her princely baby boy without taking a single painkiller — as stunned helpers marveled at her composure.

With Prince William at her side, the Duchess of Cambridge was encircled by a team of four midwives as the future king of England made his way into the world in an $8,000-a-night suite at St. Mary’s Hospital in London on Tuesday.

While many moms-to-be call for powerful painkillers to dull the intense discomfort during labor, Middleton insisted on keeping the stressful process completely natural and shunned the slightest bit of pharmaceutical comfort.

The relaxed royal managed to stay tranquil throughout her entire 11-hour labor, the Mail newspaper of London reported.

Details surrounding the ballyhooed birth have remained scant as Middleton’s aides have been sworn to secrecy.

But all signs pointed to a textbook childbirth that came off without the slightest complication or alarm.

Renowned British physician Marcus Setchel delayed his impending retirement to help with the birth of the future monarch and kept a close watch on the delivery with two other doctors behind a glass window, the Mail reported.

Middleton’s midwife squad was led by Jacqueline Dunkley-Bent, a professor at the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

She oversaw three other midwives — Arona Ahmed, a married mother of two from London, Jacqueline Venkatesh of Essex and Lisa Greene of London — as they all carefully watched over Middleton in shifts and monitored her for any potential problems.

Fewer than 24 hours after the birth of son George Alexander, Middleton emerged from the hospital carrying her new son in the crook of her arm. The beaming princess looked the picture of health standing alongside her husband, Prince William.

Born in the very same hospital as his father, the tiny tot is third in line to the crown.
