EPISODE #33 STEP INTO THE LIGHT with PATTI SHENE

Long time runner Bob Fowler was participating in the 10K Bolder Boulder in 2013, but this race ended for him in a manner he never would have imagined. Struck down by a heart attack commonly known as “the widowmaker,” a blockage of the left anterior descending artery that usually results in death, Bob experienced clinical death for well over twenty minutes.

A series of circumstances and the hand of God have enabled him to return to his employment as a Wal-mart pharmacist and to the sport of running. Bob’s body required a great deal of healing, and his spirit has been forever changed.
