Gumshoe 5K Detective Walk returns for its final year

by | Jul 6, 2022

After two year’s of being on semi-hiatus due to the pandemic, the Gumshoe returns for its very last year with a dual finale featuring two 5K detective walk: one in July and another in August. The August walk will raise money for the Greenwood Senior Center, Greenwood Elementary School PTA and Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church Food Bank as usual, but the July walk – a reprisal of the very first 2006 Gumshoe – will fund KinderReminder, an experiment in community kindness organized by the Gumshoe Answer Man (aka Mike Veitenhans).

More details, including changes to some of the entry form sales outlets and deadlines for returning the forms, can be found on the website. One thing that hasn’t changed is the cost to do the Gumshoe. It remains $20 for a single form; $15 per form when two or more are purchased at the same time. Take that, inflation!
