Laval adds a local commit to their 2018 class.
Gloire Muganda, a running back from Campus Notre-Dame-de-Foy, already lives in QuΓ©bec City, QuΓ©bec, so he saw no reason to leave, which prompted him to signed with the University of Laval Rouge et Or.
The cost of living in a city that isnβt your hometown can be expensive. Thatβs why Muganda said that financially it was better for him to attend Laval. Oh, and then there were the coaches. He said he chose Laval because of the coaching staff, who are βthe best in the country I think.β
Muganda, who is 5β8, 200lbs, spent five years with Les Faucons Porte-du-Nord (RSEQ) and one with Le Blizzard du SΓ©minaire St-FranΓ§ois (RSEQ). He won a championship while in high school and a Bol dβOr with Le Notre-Dame du CNDF (RSEQ Division 1). He is interested in taking social work.
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
