Teen killed in shooting at Durham park

A 19-year-old man was killed Thursday night in a shooting at a Durham park, police said.

DURHAM, N.C. — A 19-year-old man was killed Thursday night in a shooting at a Durham park, police said.

Witnesses said Takoreio Jaquan Jackson, of Durham, was with several friends at Lakeview Park on Dearborn Drive about 8 p.m. when shots rang out.

Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made, but investigators are trying to find a dark-colored SUV that was seen leaving the area after the shooting.
