About this game

QuestaGame takes you outdoors - to your backyard, a local park, a hiking trail, anywhere - for you to discover, learn about, and help monitor biodiversity. Join quests and compete with other players to photograph animals and plants in the wild and ultimately help create a sustainable future.

The game includes all species in your country, using national and global databases.

As part of the game, you will join quests, earn gold, buy equipment, gain levels, challenge other players, move up the leader board and become one of the great adventurers of all time. As you move up the levels, the more fun and interesting the game becomes.

All sightings are geo-tagged with location, date, time and are easily shared with national and global databases - so you can not only map your conquests, but also help scientists, researchers, planners and others work to protect Australia's biodiversity while you play.

This app is great. Is incentivises finding unique observations in nature in a fun way. Receiving detailed response regarding your findings of awesome. Most users are in Australia, which makes ID's difficult if you don't live there. It's also difficult to submit findings if you don't have good service. Would like to see an option to save your submission until you can submit it at a later point.

Just got it to check out what it was. Seems great to help people know what's around them and seems quite fun. There's just one thing that annoys me. I am a INaturalist user, I have been seeing Questagame observations all over it and it is slightly annoying. This is because the observations are never observed with the species and would just say "birds", as an example. This is annoying for us as it can affect the data base. If you could do something about this it would be great. Just to make it clear, I don't hate this app, it is fine. It's just the problems it has on INat.

Brilliant idea! Enjoying using it and learning as I go. Would be even better if there were more uk users and faster response times. The equipment available seems like a long winded and confusing process to get through. I hope more people use this!
