Good food but a bit pricey. Table needs to be clean, it's a bit sticky. Spare a few minutes if you come in for lunch or dinner they are very busy at that time.

Just visiting Louisville but this place got rave reviews and I can see why!
The staff was very friendly. Food came out quick and it was hot & delicious! Big portions...if you leave here hungry it's your fault!
By the time we left the place was packed!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sydney B.Louisville, KY402310507Mar 31, 2024
I am a sucker for Asian food and we saw Vietnam Kitchen was close to where we were so we tried it out.
We were i impressed with the food. The portions were huge and everything tasted good. The prices were a little expensive but it evened out with how much you give.
The service was not good. There were dishes that laid on the tables the whole time we were there and our server was basically nonexistent. We waited close to 30 minutes for the check and after looking around the restaurant, other people wee in the same boat as us. The few times we saw our server he didn't seem like he wanted to be there at all.
The food is good but the service and long wait, I don't picture myself coming back anytime soonHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 23, 2024
I came here with a friend of mine during lunch unsure of what to expect. I get so accustomed to eating foods from different cultures & countries only to find out later that they have been "Americanized" and not the true flavors from their countries of origin. I love trying new types of foods and I had never had Vietnamese food. My buddy Brian had been to Vietnam for business before and told me that this place was about as close as it gets to the real thing. Trusting his instincts was a great decision. From the outside, it does not look very impressive but when you walk in, you immediately feel like you are in your mom's kitchen. I decided to order the B2 (Pho Tai Gan) because I had seen pho on Food Network before and I figured that was a safe start. It was wonderful and smelled so amazing. Our service was fantastic as well. We had a great meal and a lot of good laughs and conversation. I highly recommend Vietnam Kitchen. If you are on the fence and worried about "adventurous" foods, I can certainly assure you that there is something on their menu for anyone, even picky people. If you aren't sure, the staff is super-friendly and would be glad to help you find something.

I'm not a picky eater and was told to order the Banh Canh Cua. And it was so flavorful and filling! It really hit the spot. I also got dumplings! I want to come back here and try more Vietnamese dishes!

We visited after rush-hour as this was my third or fourth visit here and the lunch rush is real. Our waitress was very attentive, nice and helpful with the menu. We tried about six things on the menu. Everyone was tasty, and would def return.

The BEST Vietnamese Food in the City! Let me just start by saying the service was amazing and very fast! The Pho is amazing! When I first walked in, I was seated and the ambiance blew me away. I chose the B1 which was the Beef Pho, I got extra onions and bean sprouts! It felt like I had just walked inside a true authentic Vietnam restaurant, and that's exactly what I was looking for and wanting! I definitely will be back!
