DeSantis Drops Truth Bombs on Idiot Liberal Reporter Who Insinuates He’s a Dictator, Humiliates Reporter to His Face

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is in the news a lot these days, and from our perspective, the reasons are nearly always good. Governor DeSantis fights for our freedoms. He never backs down, even with the full onslaught of the media establishment launching attacks on him and his state.

The Republican Governor knows Florida is a free and beautiful state, a state that shines in the darkness of tyranny — whether foreign tyrannies like Cuba or domestic ones like New York.

It is too valuable of a thing to lose to the pipedreams of leftism — which they want to, like authoritarians, force down the throats of school children — in the form of radical gender ideology and critical race theory.

More importantly, he knows the evil of tyrannical rulers who kill and slaughter their citizens in droves. As we reported last week, Governor DeSantis announced it is time to recognize the victims of communism in the classroom:

“Honoring the people that have fallen victim to communist regimes and teaching our students about those atrocities is the best way to ensure that history does not repeat itself… While it’s fashionable in some circles to whitewash the history of communism, Florida will stand for truth and remain as a beachhead for freedom.”

Amen to that! How could anyone call DeSantis a dictator? That much is beyond us. But the Left never ceases to amaze. Indeed, after being asked about comparisons between his administration and the regimes of notable Marxists, DeSantis made his feelings known with fire and fury:

“I think it’s a slap in the face to everybody in South Florida that has experience with these Marxist dictators in our hemisphere. 

You have people who were driven out of the island of Cuba. You have people, that it was so bad, the oppression there, that they would get on a raft and go 90 miles over shark-infested waters to be able to get to freedom”

And he did not stop there. He explained what he meant:

“So to equate Florida, which is viewed not only in our country, but even around the world, as a beachhead of freedom. So to equate that with those regimes just shows you [the reporter] have no idea what you’re talking about. 

 I think that it really does a disservice to the oppression that so many people in Southern Florida have faced either firsthand or through members of their family, and there’s a reason why people are pouring into the state of Florida. 

There’s a reason why we’ve led the country in net migration. I am not even asking anyone to come! People are fleeing not just other states.. they are fleeing from Canada … other places to come into the state of Florida. “

Then he went off with a savage retort:

“I realize there may be some people in the state of Florida –not in my party, but some others — politicians, who have a soft spot for dictatorships like in Cuba. They have a soft spot for people like Maduro and Ortega [Presidents of Venezuela and Nicaragua], and I just want people to know that I have contempt for those views because those views do not represent the values of the state of Florida, but particularly the views of the people of South Florida.”

BOOM! He did not hold back. That’s why DeSantis is America’s Governor. Indeed, that’s why he is making serious noise heading into 2024! A red wave is coming, and he is at the forefront of the movement.
