Haxx.eu Unveils Fanless ATX PC Case

Fanless mini-ITX and NUC cases are considered to be the cases in which the body of the cases double up as CPU coolers, but now it seems that the PC users want even more than this, probably complete ATX case which has high volume to passively cool processors with TDP of up to 95 W. Well hold your horses, because Hauxx.eu has unveiled one such case known as the Fanless Case 0.1.

Fanless Case 0.1

Fanless Case 0.1 is made up of 3.1 mm thick aluminum sheets. The case has ample space to accommodate common ATX, Micro-ATX, and mini ITX motherboards. Besides this it also has 7 expansion slots, two 5.25 inch drive bays and five 3.5 inch bays that can each grasp 2.5 inch drives.

When we talk about the difference with other cases, we see that this case has unusual cut outs. The top most panels pack a 140mm fan and a couple 120mm bottom intakes which wisely divide the load of the fan. A massive monolithic aluminum heat sink drifts over the CPU socket area which is connected to the CPU over a copper base and heat pipes. The heat sink can submissively cool CPUs with TDP of up to 95W.

Talking about its size, it measures 18 X 420 X 420mm with weight still not disclosed, but we expect it be somewhat on the higher side. Tie it with an inactive cooled PSU like Silverstone Nightjar, a passive-cooled graphics card and there you go. One of the disadvantages this case carries with itself is the price tag. It will cost you €333.
