TOKYO -- Prince Hotels aims to win over customers abroad with a new brand of Japanese-inspired luxury hotels, opening locations in London and Guangzhou as early as next year.

The Tokyo-based company will dispatch Japanese employees to The Prince Akatoki line of hotels in order to train staff in attentive and personal service. It hopes to boost name recognition among local customers, particularly prospective travelers to Japan who could then book its hotels here.
