ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)– Pinnacle Entertainment has reached an agreement with the Federal Trade Commission to sell Lumiere Casino in order to buy Ameristar Casino.
The proposed sale includes Lumiere Casino, Hotel Lumiere, and the Four Seasons hotel in downtown St. Louis as well as a casino project in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Pinnacle would then purchase Ameristar Casino in St. Charles.
Last month, the FTC issued a complaint regarding the proposal. Pinnacle officials hope the sale will help resolve the matter.
