National Apprenticeship Week

Meet our past apprentices!

Wilton Park is proud to be an Investor In People and over the past year had two apprentices in our ranks, working in operations and communications.

Scroll down to find out about what working at Wilton Park and Wiston House meant to them.

Louise, Communications Assistant

Louise joined us in June 2016 and worked within the Communications Team - here's what she had to Tweet about working at Wilton Park as a Digital Apprentice...

Lewis, Trainee Chef

The latest apprentice to take on a full-time role at Wilton Park, Lewis joined us in November 2017. In his role he works alongside our team of in-house chefs and the dining room team, first as an Apprentice Chef and currently as our Trainee Chef.

What does he think about his time so far at Wilton Park?

'Wiston House is a very unique working environment and I am pleased to be part of a very welcoming and professional team.'

Wiston House is a very unique working environment and I am pleased to be part of a very welcoming and professional team.

I couldn't think of a better place to learn the skills I need to further my career.

I enjoy the variety of the food we produce - from weddings to catering for policy events.

Every day is different which keeps me motivated.

Max, previous Trainee Chef

Max became Wilton Park's first ever apprentice in November 2015, joining us as an Apprentice Chef. After successfully completing his apprenticeship, he began work in our kitchen team as a Trainee Chef, building upon his experience as an apprentice.

In March 2017, Max received a Highly Commended Award from Northbrook College Sussex:

"We are so lucky to have such enthusiastic and eager young colleagues working with us. It's a mutually beneficial process that creates great partnerships for all our futures."
