Twitter has made a few announcements over its video offering, and how it'll help it drive more video content to the service. The one that stood out for me, besides the insights, is the opportunity for creators and publishers to monetize their work.
The first announcement is that Twitter is now allowing videos up to 140 seconds, up from 30 seconds. Certain "select" accounts are already allowed to post videos up to 10-minutes.

On Vine, twitter has extended the videos up to 150 seconds, although they would be supplementary videos.. It's also looking at monetization opportunities for creators.

Additionally, Twitter Engage now offers real time data and insights into audiences. That sure helps when you want to know what's going on in when something is released. [
