Paul Walker: Day after Death Hoax He Dies in Fiery Car Crash

Paul Walker, the American actor who started working on television commercials and later catapulted to fame after starring in the Fast & Furious franchise has died as a passenger in a flaming car crash the day after his death had been falsely reported on the internet. Just one day after he was declared dead as part of a death hoax the actor died in a fiery car crash.

Paul William Walker IV was born on September 12, 1973. He was a native Californian having been born in Glendale, Ca. Walker and another person were in a red Porsche in Valencia, Santa Clarita, California when the vehicle suddenly left the road and crashed into a light pole and a tree. The car exploded and burst into flames and the local police declared both occupants of the car dead at the scene.

Paul was an avid surfer and he had an immense interest in marine biology. Paul first got work in the industry as child when he worked on a Pampers commercial. Walker then became a child model at the age of two and he started working regularly on television shows starting in 1985. He worked on Who’s the Boss, and the daytime soap The Young and the Restless, to name but two.

In 1986 Walker started working in films with his debut feature being the comedy/horror film Monster in the Closet. It was not until 1998 that Paul made enough of an impression, in what was his biggest role to date, in the film Meet the Deedles which garnered his first real taste of fame. He worked in other films afterward that included Pleasantville and The Skulls, among others.

Paul’s casting in the 2001, film The Fast and the Furious opposite Vin Diesel made him a household name. His work in the film made him a star and it guaranteed his return to the sequel in 2003. After working on several other films, such as The Lazarus Project and Running Scared , over a period of years he returned to the franchise that made his name.

Just one day after Paul Walker’s death had been announced on the internet as part of a death hoax he died in the fiery car crash. The initial story was declared to be a hoax and his fans breathed a sigh of relief. Today, at 7:15 p.m. Pacific Time, Paul’s rep announced that the star was dead after a single car crash in Valencia, California. The avid car enthusiast was not driving the Porsche when it crashed.

Since Walker’s death was reported Twitter has been filled with tributes and fan’s disbelief. The hashtag #RIPPaulWalker and #Varsity Blues, another film that Paul starred in, as well as Fast & Furious sans hashtag are trending topics on the micro blogging site. Many of the comments deal with the idea that he will no longer be in the Fast & Furious franchise.

Paul’s rep included information that the star was in that part of California to attend a charity function that was raising money for the Philippines. The car that he died in was not his and he was not driving. A spokesperson from Universal Studios released a statement saying how shocked and sad they were at the news and they offered their condolences to his friends and family.

Sadly, it was only just announced that Walker would be starring as Agent 47 in the 2014 reboot of the film Hitman. The death of the 40 year-old star has stunned the world and Twitter continues to fill with tweets from friends, colleagues, family and fans.

It is very ironic that Paul Walker was the victim of a cruel death hoax that claimed the actor had died the day before; only to perish later in a fiery car crash. On Saturday morning, Walker’s rep released a statement that said Paul was alive and well, only to later have the horrible duty of reporting his death. Our prayers go out to his family and friends. RIP Paul Walker.

  1. I believe he no longer wanted to film that he did want to spend more time with his child I do believe that he is alive on some remote island doing what he loves best!!! Nothing makes sense now it’s said he called his mum a few hours before his death pleading she take care of his child, I think he got bored with making movies and he wanted to do what he loves and that swim with the fish, not only that he has the money to do just this that car wreck makes no sense none at all I have never known a hood of a car who slams into poles come out clean!!! He isn’t gone he just left the scene bored and wanted to be human not Someone’s Ginny pig!!! And if this is what he done well good for him!!! Why would you want to be followed everywhere pics taken etc no privacy!! And his friend left with him!! I never knew Cali roads to be empty of cars not one driver other them them until after the fatal wreck??? Crazy huh??? Anyhow if alive good for him

  2. God bless Paul Walker, he evidently had a great heart, he was loved by not only his family but his friends and his fans! He gave to many, I loved him in Running Scared! He was/is a good actor and in my opinion the most handsome Caucasian man I have ever seen on television or walking the streets. Simply gorgeous! Do you all notice that good people do not stay alive very long?? Miss u Paul Walker!

  3. hmmm his death does kinda sound fishy after reading all the cmts and posts…[hoax¿] on the day before his death…and all the [illuminati] thing…I hope his death was just an accident and no one was behind this, it would be really sad if “someone” did this on purpose just to make $$ or get sth out of it. To take a life for your own benefit?? omggg

  4. Much of the time if people are killed it is for money. Perhaps some of the people that will benefit the most will be the people at the top that make the most money off the fast and the furious franchise. Perhaps they accidentally released something too early and everyone is just calling it a hoax when it could have really been a mistakenly early press release. Or even a premature comment on an earlier attempt on his life that wasn’t successful or not followed through with. You could call it coincidence that a person died in a car in flames when that happened so many times in his movies that he is so famous for. Or maybe he is just one of the many people who die horribly in car crashes. Either way I think this death should be investigated to rule out any foul play even if there won’t be very much physical evidence.

I was watching a show just yesterday where that was the premise, that a ship had exploded and all the occupants had died. The only difference was they had said the correct date in the not yet released press release which was in fact the following day/future, and the occupants saw this so the ship left earl. They searched for a bomb, found it and then threw the bomb off the ship.

  5. Seriously, post ANY proof that there actually was a hoax before his death. Someone has to have a screenshot of this alleged flood of posts and the supposed Facebook groups (which I have looked for, and there were none to be found at the time). Or, actually, no they don’t. BECAUSE THIS NEVER HAPPENED. You’re all confused, and likely as a result of different time zones. You saw the actual news of his death, and then people kept saying it was a hoax, and then you heard the confirmed news the day after (or hours after), and perhaps saw some articles with various dates. Now you’re 100% convinced you witnessed a pre-death death hoax that never occurred.

By all means, if you think I’m wrong, then simply go fetch one of these many posts from before his death (on Facebook, you can click on the date next to the “Share” button to get a permalink — there’s no excuse, people!).

This has certainly been an eye-opening, albeit unintentional social experiment. Someone should make a documentary on it!

  6. There was a hoax bc several folks posted rip Paul Walker on Friday. When I researched it, on Friday night, I learned that it was a hoax. Then on Saturday afternoon I heard more death rumors and this time his rep confirmed it was true. I think the hoaxers are trying to cover their tracks by claiming there never was a hoax. There was most certainly ahoax Friday and I freaked out but was relieved to know it was just a hoax. Until I heard otherwise on Saturday. Just because you weren’t victim to Friday’s prank doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

  7. Paul Walker was a Mormon and It’s said that the Illuminati hates Mormons..
My guess is that they seriously didn’t want him up on the big screens anymore…
R.I.P. Paul Walker.. You will be dearly missed! ~~~~{~@ ~~~~{~@ ~~~~{~@

  16. The hoax was a hoax. Your source for there being a hoax on Friday, Nov. 29th is a satirical website that posted the hoax of a hoax the day before he died. It did not happen. Nice fact checking/journalism.

  17. seems too ironic, maybe a notice not to get in fast car from the ultimate above? hopefully no foul play but something sounds very fishy

  18. “Thoughts are THINGS”… What you put out in the universe, hoax or not, will give you exactly what you put out!!

  19. I have a hard time believing in psychics, but I wonder if someone had a dream he died or had a vision that it happened and put it on the internet.

  20. Kim. No he wasn’t Angela’s son..Paul Walker played a part at a party the Sam went to.

  21. Hope they investigate the release of the hoax, seems too shady. The chances are like winning the power ball.
