Join the exhibit curators and artists for a look behind the making of the Dancing with Devils: Latin American Mask Traditions digital exhibit. The event will include a discussion with documentary photographer Leonardo Carrizo and special guest Fernando Endara, Diablo de Píllaro.

About this exhibit:

This exhibit presents a collection of Latin American masks from the Center for Latin American Studies’ Andean and Amazonian Cultural Artifacts Collection alongside photographs of a Diablada de Píllaro in the Ecuadorian province of Tungurahua. Diablada festivals are among the most widely recognized celebrations in Latin America.
