A look at major terror attacks that took place in the Kashmir Valley

On April 27, 2017 three militants attack an army camp in Kupwara district of Kashmir, and in the attack 3 jawans, including a Captain, were martyred.

 

On November 29, 2016 terrorists attacked an army garrison in Nagrota in Jammu, and 7 jawans, including 2 officers were martyred.

 

On October 6, 2016 militants attacked a Rashtriya Rifles camp in Handwara of Jammu and Kashmir, fortunately the security forces were alert and 3 terrorists were killed.

 

On October 2, 2016 militants attacked a Rashtriya Rifles camp in Baramulla where a jawan was martyred and 2 terrorists were killed.

 

And on September 18, 2016 an army brigade headquarters in Uri was attacked and unfortunately 18 jawans lost their lives.
