Great employees are one of the most valuable resources for the nonprofit sector, making staff health and satisfaction critical. A good Benefits plan can significantly affect staff health, satisfaction and retention. However, an affordable, robust benefits plan is not feasible for many nonprofit organizations in Ontario.
This month, we launched the ONN Employee Benefits Program as part of our commitment to supporting Decent Work in the nonprofit sector. We strongly believe that employee benefits are vital to a strong and healthy nonprofit labour force.

The ONN Employee Benefits Program is the first of many exciting offerings developed through the ONN Purchasing Program (ONPP). It was created with the input and guidance of a team of nonprofit leaders to ensure that it addresses the specific needs of our sector. And, in keeping with the principles of the ONNPP, the program was built using a well-balanced set of requirements, including reduced costs, high-quality service and improved risk management.
