The CEO of NLT Nepal, Kamal Shrestha, reports that in Nepal there have been 1567 confirmed cases of Covid-19 up to 31st May, and of those, 8 people have died. So far, none of the NLT staff or producers have been infected by the corona virus and, after more than two months of lockdown, Kamal is planning to do a careful return to work for staff, observing all necessary precautions.

The day to day lives of many people have been difficult due to the lockdown, and they are hoping that the government will ease things soon. At this stage, lockdown in Nepal is being continued up to the 14th June.
