9. Rustic radiance. This new bathroom in Minneapolis features a great mix of rustic and contemporary style. The custom vanity is made of reclaimed wood in a gray-washed finish. The brass sink fixture and pendant lights add a chic, modern touch.
8. Wavy wonder. Designer Jennifer Morris of JMorris Design calls this bathroom’s cement floor tile with its wavy aqua-and-gray pattern the star of the space. “The floor tile was the first thing we selected, and it was so pretty and bold we picked support tiles and fixtures that wouldn’t compete,” she says.

5. Showcase style. This modern master bathroom from the 2018 Kips Bay Decorator Show House is a spa, sanctuary and recharging station appealing to all five senses. A living wall from MagnaFlora adds a fragrant and visual touch next to the freestanding tub, and the Kohler fixtures feature the company’s new rose gold finish.
4. Tantalizing tile. The wow-worthy floor in this bathroom designed by the team at Case Design/Remodeling is made of cement tiles in various Moroccan-inspired patterns that read as one larger pattern.

3. Rock-hard rug. Speaking of wow-worthy floors, the large-format black-and-white mosaic in this Canadian bathroom resembles a kilim rug. “The tile takes on a Persian rug feel to make a statement while making the bathroom feel warm and cozy,” designer Lindsey Zugelder says.
2. Sophisticated gray. The designer of this Washington, D.C., bathroom says the light gray color palette was dictated by the Carrara marble on the shower-tub surround and floor. The walls are painted in Benjamin Moore’s Gray Cloud, and the Newcastle vanity is in the Ocean Gray finish.
1. Customized champion. The most popular bathroom photo in the last three months features a bevy of stylish touches. Designer Jenna Sue paneled the walls in shiplap painted in Valspar’s Gray Silt. She covered the floor in black-and-white cement tiles, and the custom vanity is made from a piece of furniture.

The repurposed antique Singer sewing table as a bathroom vanity looks brilliant. What a clever idea!
Each and every one of these bathrooms is quite lovely in their own way. One change we would make, is they all ignore the toilet. Toilet Tattoos is a modern option to add decor to the toilet. Custom design options available as well as Monograms, plus hundreds of existing patterns. Toilets are a piece of functional furniture in every bathroom and should be part of the overall design.
Thank you for an excellent article! I like the tantalizing tile look. Tantalizing tile transforms your kitchen or bathroom floor. The material can be used to add texture and depth to fireplaces and entry walls or even to accent a bedroom wall.
