Uganda Home Updates:
Bukesa
We are so proud of our boys in the Bukesa Home, as they have some very exciting news to share! Mark has received a full ride athletic scholarship for his final two years of secondary school and could be well on his way to a professional basketball career. Learn about more stories here.
Makerere
Whether they returned to their communities to spend quality time with family over winter break or stayed at the Learning Center to improve their literary skills, our boys at the Makerere Home in Uganda kicked off the new year on the right foot. Read the full story here.

At HALO, January's life skill is "goal setting," and the girls at the Mengo Home in Uganda have already gotten to work. They've resolved to improve their academic grades by waking up earlier and have formed study groups for subjects they're struggling in. Learn more here.
Kibuli
HALO is happy to report that the Kibuli Home in Uganda is off to a good start in 2017! The boys enjoyed a month at home with their families over winter break and returned to their HALO family in January. Read full story here.
