CHARLOTTE, NC — During Monday’s meeting, City Council members voted unanimously in favor of the “Brunch Bill.”
The bill allows the sale of alcohol beginning at 10am on Sundays. Lawmakers passed the bill earlier this year giving state municipalities the ability to adopt ordinances permitting the sale.
The bill only applies to restaurants and retail outlets. The new sale time will take affect starting this Sunday, July 30th.
