Model, TV personality, and new mom Tyra Banks has listed her sprawling Battery Park City duplex. The apartment is mammoth, as one assembled by Tyra Banks should be, and is a combination of four apartments at Riverhouse, the New York Times who had the exclusive on its listing, notes. The four apartments, which span the 22nd and 23rd floors, were acquired by Banks in 2009 for $10.13 million. Today, it’s on the market for $17.5 million.

The duplex’s interiors are a reflection of Banks’s ideas for the apartment. “New amazing ideas just kept coming and coming to me,” Banks told the Times. The apartment’s renovations resulted in a five-bedroom home with five bathrooms, three powder rooms, several kitchens and kitchenettes, and the unique ability to divide the spaces into different zones for guests, visitors, and business acquaintances.

Some of the more unusual features of the apartment include a salon; mirrored dressing room; and a kitchen with a zebrawood island, two Miele dishwashers, a moss green ceiling, and a dining alcove that Banks told the Times she wanted to feel like a “booth at a Michelin-starred restaurant.”

This isn’t the first time Banks has tried to offload the apartment, so to speak. It appeared on the market as a $50,000/month rental in March 2015. While a sale would be preferable for Banks, whose work has re-centered her in Los Angeles, the apartment is still available as a $50,000/month rental. The apartment is on the market with Adam Modlin of the Modlin Group.
