So upon opening I went to this restaurant and I wasn't super impressed. Fast forward almost a year... They have totally stepped up a little. The pulled pork and homemade onion Rings we had today WERE AMAZING!!!!! With that being said the rest of the food on the bar is ehhhhh and the staff seems to change VERY often. There also were a lot of flies :(

Mar 13, 2015Previous reviewWent to give this place a second chance. Food was still just ok. We waited an hour and a half for our child's hamburger and fries. There were only two tables when we walked in, clearly the waitress didn't put the ticket in. She was than blaming the kitchen for the hold up. Needless to say, will not be going back.

The food was okay but WAY OVERPRICED. At around $14 for the buffet (hot bar, salad, and drink) I would expect much more than two entrees and a couple sides. Like I said, no complaint about the quality or flavor but not worth the price they're asking.

The Western omelet was superb, biscuits and hash browns enjoyable. Pancakes are the size of your head. Worthy stop headed home from the panhandle beaches! Country diner prices. Service with a smile.

My family ate there for the first time tonight. We were very impressed with this restaurant. It has a small dinner feel, incredibly cheap prices, and the food was wonderful. I wasn't expecting much, so I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken tenders were home breaded and fresh, and the hamburger was not a pre-made patty, rather hand rolled and fresh beef. I'm looking forward to eating there for breakfast. The service was fine. It seems to be clean and well kept inside as well. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

We used to eat here a lot bc the food was awesome, best homemade mashed potatoes I've ever had but in the last 6 months the food has really gone down in quality. The waitress told us they stopped making items from scratch to save money and it shows. They have new owners now but we are afraid to go back bc the last few times we ate their it was such a disappointment.

Used to love this place but something has really changed and I don't know what changed. The food was cold in the buffet, the chicken was dry and the vegetables had no seasoning whatsoever. I don't like writing bad reviews but it upsets me when a restaurant puts no effort in making food, they might need a hand it over to somebody who enjoys cooking and is passionate about it . Their AC was leaking which isn't that big of a deal other than the fact it was leaking into a chair at the table I was sitting at. The salad bar and desserts were probably the only decent things. The waiter was nice as well, good service from her and she was quick to try and fix things. Changes need to be made here.

Went there for breakfast for the first time this morning and really enjoyed! I ordered the western omelette with bacon, hashbrowns, and biscuit. My husband ordered the ham and cheese omelette with bacon, hashbrowns, and biscuit. The food was absolutely delicious and completely homemade. They even go a step farther to grill the biscuits before serving to melt the butter and, the bacon was of good quality and not the cheap, 90% fat crap. The service was very friendly and thorough and, neither of our tea glasses ever reached more than half empty. The dining area is very clean and has a very warm and cozy feel to it. Will definitely be a breakfast go-to on a regular basis. Can't wait to try options from the lunch/dinner menu. If you haven't given this gem a chance, try it because you won't regret it!
