EK Water Blocks has released their first product in an upcoming line of liquid nitrogen (LN2) evaporation coolers for competitive overclockers. The EK-SF3D Triple Point EVO works in conjunction with up to four module adapters to allow users to overclock and cool (with LN2) practically any DDR-SDRAM module and of any generation.
The EK-SF3D Triple Point EVO is made of electrolytic grade nickel plated copper in order to provide the necessary mass to even out the temperature fluctuation. The top extension is made from high quality POM Acetal because with it’s poor thermal conductivity it is better at preventing unwanted condensation formation. Bundled with the EK-SF3D Triple Point EVO cooler are two Triple Point Module Adapter heatsinks. Each of these are made of CNC machined high quality aluminium and feature black anodized finish.
The EK-SF3D Triple Point EVO is availabe for purchase from the EK Webshop for 74.95€ incl. VAT ($97.20). For those wondering if EK will have a LN2 CPU cooling unit they are expected to announce it at the end of the week so stay tuned!
