We help and support UK families to find the best in Angelman Syndrome.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

15 of us will be taking the 5 mile muddy obstacle course, crawling through mud, conquering steep, slippery slopes and walking the plank  in the name of 'fun'. It will be muddy and in return for that pleasure, we would like to kindly ask you for your donations for our chosen charity: ASSERT (Angelman Syndrome Support Education and Research Trust).

Angelman Syndrome is a rare and severe neuro-genetic disorder and individuals with Angelman syndrome will require life-long care.

The reason we have chosen to raise funds for ASSERT is in support of one of our colleagues, who is the father of a 6-year-old girl with Angelman Syndrome. His little girl is his hero. She has fought her condition with a smile since she was born and is making great progress thanks to her family, friends, doctors and teachers.

We would really appreciate your donations to ASSERT, which continues to support children with AS and their families.

Thank you!

Alvaro Caraballo, Ivan Arozamena, David Depedroviejo, Andrés Sánchez, Jorge Lesmes, Stephen Ruff, Carlos Hernandez, David Gómez, Alan Bayley, Marta Thomas, David Porto, Lourdes Gomez, Angel Luis Jimenez, Eugenio Rodriguez and Antonio Castillo
