Save up to 70% at Brooks Bros. warehouse sale in downtown L.A.

I usually round out my Brooks Brothers wardrobe needs with a twice-a-year sojourn to the Manchester, Vt., factory/outlet store, but I just found out that -- for the next six days anyway -- I’ll be able to do some outlet-style shopping for one of my favorite men’s brands a little closer to home.
Starting today and running through Saturday, the downtown Los Angeles Brooks Brothers location will be hosting a warehouse sale that can save you up to 70% on a wide selection of men’s suits, trousers and sport coats.
That means pants for nearly pennies (well, $69), sport coats sporting a $100 to $200 price tag and suits tailored to the $200-to-$600 range.
But aspiring Stephen Colberts of the world be forewarned, the custom-cut camouflage suit probably won’t be among the bargains to be had.
Brooks Brothers, 604 S. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, (213) 629-4200, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.
