In the meantime, I thought it would be fun to talk about everything cowboy. I will start. My love affair with cowboys started way back when the movie URBAN COWBOY was released. It was further fueled on my first business trip to Tucson when a very handsome cowboy looked at me from across the hotel parking lot and tipped his hat at me. I must say that memory has never faded in all these years!!
So tell me, when did your love affair with cowboys start? Was it a movie? A book? A real live cowboy? Do tell!!

My uncle was a champion roper back in the day so I thought all cowboys were fabulous. I had a mad love of horses, and cowboys rode horses. How I could not grow up and marry one? LOL. Naturally, I didn't. I do have a picture of my hubby on a horse and he's awfully cute, but that's the only time in his whole life that he rode a horse, I think. But a girl can dream.
One of my fondest memories was my time on a dude ranch. I even incorporated some of the zany incidents in my contribution to Love Me Some Cowboy--Once Upon a Cowboy. Let me tell you, I think they hire wranglers on dude ranches based on how hot they are. Yum!!
I've loved horses since I was a kid, so it makes perfect sense that I'd love the fellas that ride them. There's nothing I like better than a guy who's comfortable around horses and treats them kindly.
