This is a course of six full-day group sessions (Saturdays) that run on the following dates: 22nd April, 10th June, 15th July, 9th September, 21st October and 25th November 2017. Each participant will have the opportunity to have a number of structured sessions during the course (the number of 'structures' can be chosen by the participant on payment).

Would you like to become more fully aware of who you truly are and experience increased pleasure, satisfaction, meaning and connectedness in life? Would you like to become a better person, professional or partner?

Pesso Boyden therapy (PBSP) is a powerful, responsive therapeutic method that works to these outcomes. It is a profound process that helps people understand the psychological compromises and defences that limit them in life. Within a safely led group, clients experience the possibility of moving beyond these constraints. Typically clients gain new perspectives on how the past impacts the present in their behaviour and relationships. They experience increased empowerment and clarity in handling life dilemmas.

How does PBSP work?

The Pesso Boyden method is a systematic and highly respectful therapy, which helps a client surface internal maps or blueprints for living. Memory is essential to our living a good life and yet unhelpful memories often exert a negative influence on the way we look at the world. Unmet needs from the past create problems when we transfer them onto people in our present lives. We may have memories of trauma – survived through unconscious strategies that helped in the past and which get in the way now.

By utilising the brain’s capacity for neuron-plasticity, this approach provides individuals with new, ‘symbolic memories', embedded in the here-and-now experience of a PBSP structure. These alternative memories meet the client’s innate genetic expectations of being fully seen and understood and lessen the power of trauma or of unmet developmental needs to disrupt present-day life.

Participants say:

“I am feeling a huge benefit from the change we achieved together... it has, without a doubt, made a shift in a very pervasive pattern across contexts in my relationships and has changed how I think of being around other people. How great is that!”

“… gentle, but powerful… it helps us to manage the voices that we all have that don't come from our true self but from learned responses/ behaviour… the work has helped me to free myself of inherited family patterns and dynamics.”

“My structure was rewarding and revealing, with good insights into the ramifications of my preoccupied attachment style in my later-life 'love map' and marriage.”

“It had a strong impact. This was my first experience of Pesso Boyden. Helping with other people's structures was incredibly heart-opening and I felt great unity with the group.”

Participants in PBSP workshops gain significantly from the experience of other peoples’ structures.
