Mehmet Yuksek began his professional career in Colgate Palmolive Turkey in 1993. He joined Perfetti Turkey as Head of Marketing in 1997. In 2001, he moved to Milan, Italy, to work as International Marketing Manager at the company’s headquarters, where he spearheaded numerous gum projects across the globe. At the beginning of 2011, he was named Executive VP of PVM USA in Erlanger, Kentucky, became General Manager in June 2012 and President & CEO in December 2012.  A Turkish national, Mehmet Yuksek holds a B.A. degree in Political Science & International Relations from Bogazici University in Istanbul.

Perfetti Van Melle is a privately owned company, producing and distributing candies and chewing gums in more than 150 countries worldwide. In addition to the global brands, Perfetti Van Melle offers a wide range of products the popularity of which is rooted in individual, local and regional markets. Perfetti Van Melle, headquartered in Lainate, Italy, operates 39 companies, including 31 manufacturing facilities, located worldwide.
