Cinnamon Bazaar: Vivek Singh shows us around his new restaurant

The celebrated Indian chef shows us what to expect at his new Covent Garden restaurant

Cinnamon Bazaar is the latest launch from Vivek Singh, one of the capital’s best-loved Indian chefs.

The new Covent Garden site, which officially opens on December 10, follows in the footsteps of Singh’s Westminster restaurant The Cinnamon Club, Cinnamon Kitchen in the City and Cinnamon Soho.

It takes inspiration from both the ancient and modern bazaars dotted along the various trading routes that connected the empires of the Old World, and its dishes and design aim to reflect the bustle, colour and energy of these places.

It will serve a selection of cocktails created by top mixologist Ryan Chetiyawardana, aka Mr Lyan.

In the video above, the chef and restaurateur shows us around the restaurant, demonstrates some of the dishes which will be served and explains how it will be both similar and different to his previous ventures.
