YouTube surpasses a billion monthly users
YouTube now has more than a billion unique users every month.
Google’s video platform announced the new milestone via a blog post, saying that nearly one out of every two people on the internet visits YouTube.
To put the 1 billion figure into context, YouTube offered the following fun facts:
- Its monthly viewership is the equivalent of roughly ten Super Bowl audiences.
