Game of Thrones fans, rejoice! Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are reportedly engaged, according to People. As anyone familiar with the HBO series knows, Harington and Leslie appeared on screen in the series as each other’s love interest. And while things didn’t end too well for Jon Snow and Ygritte’s fictional relationship, it looks like they’re going to get a happy ending in real life.
Word of Harington and Leslie’s relationship first circulated in 2012. Reportedly, the couple split for a period of time before ultimately getting back together. Last year, the couple went public with their relationship. Not long after, in an interview with L’Uomo Vogue, Harington said that his time shooting their scenes together in Iceland was his favorite GOT experience yet. As to why, Harington simply said, “Because the country is beautiful, because the northern lights are magical, and because it was there that I fell in love.” Perhaps a honeymoon there will be in order? Even if not, Game of Thones has plenty of vacation inspiration to go around.
